Britain's leader plans to press allies to provide Ukraine with further extended-range weaponry to hit Russian targets during a meeting in the UK capital on Friday.

The prime minister is set to welcome Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", comprising over twenty of supporting nations who have committed to grant Ukraine security guarantees once a ceasefire is negotiated.

Zelensky has been appealing for several weeks for further extended-range systems from allied countries, a step that Moscow has warned would intensify the war.

The Ukrainian president is coming from Brussels, where he conferred with European Union officials on yesterday pursuing funding aid.

"The sole individual involved in the ongoing war who refuses to end the war is the Russian leader," Starmer remarked.

Britain's leader will encourage participants to ramp up the supply of extended-range systems following a productive operation on a manufacturing site in Bryansk, Russia, using Britain-delivered missile systems.
